Most people don’t realize this, but one of the biggest reasons they struggle to grow their brand, attract the right people, or even explain what they do… is because they don’t have clarity.
They don’t know how to talk about themselves.
They don’t know how to highlight their own story.
And half the time, they don’t even remember where they started or why they do what they do in the first place.
That’s where this Discovery Phase comes in.
Before you can build something powerful, you have to understand who you are, what makes you different, and who you’re meant to serve. This phase is all about uncovering that—so by the time we’re done here, you’ll have the exact language, positioning, and clarity you need to move forward with confidence.
Here’s what we’re going to do:
Your story is the foundation of everything. If you can’t tell it in a way that stops people in their tracks, makes them say “Wow, this person gets me”, and compels them to learn more… you’re already losing them.
This step is all about mapping out your journey and turning it into a powerful story that you can use on your social profiles, website, and brand messaging.
The goal? To create a story that connects, builds trust, and makes you unforgettable.
Once we’ve got your story down, it’s time to find your lane—the exact market position that makes competition irrelevant.
Most people stay way too broad, thinking it’ll help them attract more people. But the truth? The more you niche down, the more powerful your messaging becomes.
In this step, we’ll take a broad market and cut it down into 3-5 layers deep until we hit something so specific that it instantly speaks to the right people. This is how you go from being “just another expert” to the only option that makes sense for your audience.
Now that we have a niche, it’s time to go all in on understanding the people inside it.
Who are they?
What do they want?
What’s keeping them up at night?
What fears, frustrations, and doubts do they have that they don’t even say out loud?
This step is all about getting inside their world so that when you speak, it feels like you’re inside their head. The better you know them, the more naturally they’ll trust you—because you’ll be talking in their language, solving their exact problems, and showing them a transformation they deeply want.
By the time we’re done here, you’ll have:
✅ A powerful Origin Story that makes people stop, listen, and connect
✅ A Niche of One that eliminates competition and makes your message laser-focused
✅ A crystal-clear Ideal Student Profile so you know exactly how to reach and serve your audience
Most people never take the time to fully understand themselves, their niche, or their audience—which is exactly why their brand struggles.
But not you.
You’re about to lay the foundation that makes everything else easier.
Let’s dive in!

The truth is, how effectively you connect with your audience is directly correlated to how authentically you share your origin story.
If your story doesn't STOP people in their tracks, make them think "This person gets me," and compel them to learn more, you don't have an effective origin story.
So, before we dive into the Origin Story Builder™ framework that anyone can use, let's recap what makes a powerful origin story in the first place.
Polished stories (while they might sound impressive to colleagues) usually end up distancing you from your audience more than they connect with them. People read these polished stories, can't relate to the perfect journey, and then scroll right past.
Instead, you want your story to be authentically human:
What struggles did you face?
How did you feel?
And what was your BREAKTHROUGH?
(What changed everything for you?)
Stories that don't forge emotional connections don't get remembered.
It's not enough to say, "I went through X." You have to take it one step further and say, "I went through X, and this is how it changed my life forever."
Without a deep CONNECTION, your audience can't quite see themselves in your journey or understand why they should trust you to guide them.
If you are speaking to a General Audience, your story needs to be specific about universal emotions and experiences.
And if you are speaking to a Niche Audience, your story needs to be specific about challenges relevant to their particular situation or industry.
If your story isn't specific about the struggle, the transformation, or both, it's vague.
And anything that's vague is forgettable, and anything that's forgettable won't connect with your audience.
The worst origin stories are ones that try to be "inspirational for everyone."
They avoid showing real vulnerability or taking a clear position.
As a result, the audience doesn't quite understand your unique perspective or why your journey matters to them.
Instead, you want to craft stories that are memorable:A lot of people dilute their stories out of fear that they won't attract "enough followers."
But the truth is, when you try to inspire everyone, you end up connecting with no one.
All great origin stories have what I like to call a "Journey Arc." This means your audience understands your starting point, relates to your struggles, and can see the transformation you achieved—but your story doesn't give away every detail.
They have to engage with you to learn the full journey.
Stories that don't do this, and instead just state facts ("I struggled but then I succeeded") make the audience think they already know everything about you and, as a result, don't need to actually connect further.
You must show your transformation while maintaining mystery around your methods.
1. THE STRUGGLE:
What specific challenges or pain points did you face? (Burnout, Failure, Loss, etc.)
2. THE EMOTIONS:
How did these challenges make you feel? (Frustrated? Overwhelmed? Lost?)
3. THE TURNING POINT:
What specifically triggered your transformation? Try to identify the exact moment.
(General dissatisfaction → Specific event → "I hit rock bottom when...")
4. THE AUDIENCE:
Who are you now uniquely positioned to help? Your audience might be implied by your journey, but you can always increase connection by naming them directly (Busy Professionals, Creative Entrepreneurs, etc.).
5. THE TRANSFORMATION:
What did you discover or create that changed everything? What results did you achieve? (Think: Before & After.)
6. THE BRIDGE:
How can you show your audience that you understand where they are now and can help them achieve similar results? (More details about your system, proof, and invitation.)
Example Story:
"For 15 years, I rode the photographer's rollercoaster—one month having just a dollar in my account, the next having $15,000. Even working with major brands like Universal Studios, I couldn't escape the cycle of inconsistency. Then I lost my steadiest client right after getting married, and a promising job opportunity turned out to be a $3,000 scam. That's when I turned to something new… I put my head down and learned AI—it became my virtual team, helping me overcome challenges like writing which was hard because of my dyslexia and or creating complex systems. Now I help aspiring solopreneurs like you harness AI to build sustainable online businesses, so you can achieve the freedom and stability I wished for during those tough years."
Be honest about where you are in your journey.
Your story doesn't need to be finished to be powerful. If you're still in the process of transformation, share that! People connect more deeply with authenticity than perfection. Share what you've learned, what you're figuring out, and how you're using those insights to help others avoid the struggles you faced.
For example, instead of pretending you've "made it," you might say:
"I'm still building and growing, but I've spent the last year and a half mastering AI tools, and I'm passionate about helping others skip the painful learning curve I went through."
Remember: Your story's power lies in its authenticity, not its polish. People aren't looking for a perfect hero—they're looking for a relatable guide who understands their challenges and can help light the way forward.
Now that you understand the elements of a powerful origin story, let's leverage AI to help you create yours. The beauty of using AI as your storytelling partner is that it can help draw out your authentic story through thoughtful questions and guidance.
Before you start working with AI to craft your story, here are some key preparation tips:
"Will my story sound authentic if AI helps write it?"
Yes—because the AI is simply helping structure and express YOUR authentic experiences and emotions. You're providing all the real content; the AI is just helping organize and present it effectively.
"What if I'm not good at expressing myself?"
That's exactly where AI shines! It can help draw out your story through questions and then help articulate it clearly. Just focus on sharing honestly, and let the AI help with the storytelling craft.
"Can I combine different versions the AI creates?"
Absolutely! You might love the opening from one version and the closing from another. Feel free to ask the AI to combine elements you like or to revise specific sections.

Step-by-Step Guided Question Flow
IMPORTANT: ONLY ASK ONE QUESTION AT A TIME.
Step 1: Start with the Big Picture
Question:
What’s your field or market, and what is the core mission driving your work?
Guidance & Example:
Think about the “why” behind your career. For instance, "I’m a wellness coach who helps busy professionals reclaim energy and balance in their lives because I once struggled with burnout and found a sustainable solution."
Step 2: Define the Before State (The Struggle)
Question:
Before you found your current path, what major challenge or struggle did you face? How did it make you feel?
Guidance & Example:
Share a moment that captures how tough it was. For example: "I was constantly working late, skipping meals, and feeling drained. I couldn’t keep up with the demands of work and life, and I felt like I was failing at both."
Step 3: Highlight the Crisis Moment
Question:
Was there a specific event or moment that felt like rock bottom? What happened, and what were you feeling at that time?
Guidance & Example:
Think about the turning point. For instance: "One day, I missed an important meeting because I overslept, and I felt like my career and health were slipping away. I knew something had to change."
Step 4: Uncover the Turning Point
Question:
What was the breakthrough or discovery that helped you change your path? Was there a decision or vow you made?
Guidance & Example:
Describe the "aha" moment. For example: "I realized I needed to prioritize my health. I started researching small changes I could make, like meal prepping and taking short walks during breaks."
Step 5: Show the Transformation
Question:
How did things change for you after this breakthrough? What did you achieve, and how are you now helping others achieve similar results?
Guidance & Example:
Share your AFTER state. For example: "Now, I feel energized and in control of my life. I’ve built a system that helps other busy professionals integrate wellness into their routines and thrive."
Step 6: Establish Credibility
Question:
What skills, experience, or achievements make you uniquely qualified to help others with this problem?
Guidance & Example:
Highlight your expertise. For example: "I’ve worked in this industry for 10 years, created a best-selling wellness course, and have helped over 1,000 clients transform their lives."
Step 7: Connect with Your Audience
Question:
Who is your ideal audience, and what struggles or goals do they have that align with your story?
Guidance & Example:
Describe who you want to serve. For instance: "I help working parents who feel overwhelmed by their responsibilities and want to feel more in control of their health and happiness."
Step 8: Define the Action Goal
Question:
What do you want your audience to do after hearing your story?
Guidance & Example:
Think of a clear call to action. For example: "I want them to subscribe to my channel and join my wellness program so they can take the first steps toward reclaiming their energy and balance."

Let’s dive in!
What’s your field or market, and what is the core mission driving your work?
(Think about why you do what you do. For example, “I help people find fulfilling careers because I once felt trapped in a job that drained me, and I want others to feel empowered to choose joy.”)
Take a moment to reflect and respond!
4o
I help aspiring solopreneurs and entrepreneurs make money online I believe that online courses are the best Avenue for creating wealth online because most people have accumulated a skill or an expertise that someone is looking for and they just need the help to identify it and to package it into a digital product I also believe that artificial intelligence is here like Chachi BT and Claude And this is opening up doors of being able to do more things by yourself as these AI chatbots act as your employees or teammates such as copywriters marketing things assistance and other things people would do and so we put on the hat of creative director editor and and just need to direct these new employees and that's what I inspired to teach and to show others how to do
ChatGPT
Great start! Let’s build on this. Next up:
Before you found your current path, what major challenge or struggle did you face? How did it make you feel?
(Think about a time when things felt tough or uncertain. For example: “I was juggling multiple jobs, feeling stuck and undervalued, and wondering how I’d ever create the freedom and financial stability I craved.”)
Take your time to share!
4o
So I spent 15 years being a professional photographer which was a roller coaster ride where you know I would go anywhere from having a dollar in my bank account to 15 grand there was no consistency I was working with Major Brands such as Universal Studios or Pepto-Bismol or Crest or a bunch of different people but the problem was it was never consistent it would take a long time to get a job and then I when I got it it was basically just paying off all the bills that I collected you know worked as assistance I had second jobs in restaurants and Hospitality pursuing this dream and basically I realized that you know for me photography was a dead end and was just me putting too much effort in for the little reward I would get and so I decided to Pivot and this let you know led me to playing with AI and taking the skills I've learned from photography of wearing multiple different hats and and problem solving and concept building and all that into creating this course
ChatGPT
That’s an incredibly compelling backstory! Let’s move to the next step:
Was there a specific event or moment that felt like rock bottom? What happened, and what were you feeling at that time?
(Think about a turning point where you realized things couldn’t continue as they were. For example: “After months of working two jobs, one day my power got shut off because I couldn’t pay the bill. I felt defeated, questioning if I’d ever break free from the cycle.”)
Take a moment to pinpoint and describe your crisis moment.
4o
So I was working and I had a consistent client that I worked with all the time they basically hired us once a month and out of the blue I think the art director had a midlife crisis or you know she woke up one day and packed her stuff and left her boyfriend and got in a fight with our producer for no reason and like ended up firing us even though we had great relationships with her and she just had she was just angry at the producer for some reason but she fired all of us for no reason which basically made it so all the income I just was relying on as my consistent client and the one holding me up had just left me for no reason and this is right after I just got married and now I don't you know now I don't have a job and so I started looking everywhere for a traditional job I applied probably to 20 or 30 things a day sending out thousands of resumes and like getting absolutely zero results and feeling like all of the decisions I've made like my skills are not transferable that like I don't know where to start what to do like photography is a dead end and then finally I did get one response it was for a retouching job and it wasn't that great but it allowed me to be remote and to pursue other things and it looked good I did an interview the HR department called to make sure like everything went well and once I got an offer from them they sent the contract they gave me a call to make sure I got everything I signed it was they sent me money it cleared in my bank account I bought a laptop and then all of a sudden the money was gone and it was a it was all a scam and I lost $3,000 and the job I you know been searching for for months wasting my time sending applications out just didn't work out and I got scammed and that was my that was when I decided that you know I need to build my own thing and I need to in the future and keep going and you know instead of wasting my time looking for things that will never happen just to do my own thing
ChatGPT
That is such a powerful and emotional turning point. Thank you for sharing that. Now let’s shift to the breakthrough moment that followed:
What was the breakthrough or discovery that helped you change your path? Was there a decision or vow you made?
(Think about the moment you decided to pivot and what gave you the spark to start building your own path. For example: “After I hit rock bottom, I realized that I needed to stop relying on others to create opportunities for me. I vowed to leverage my skills to build something sustainable and began learning everything I could about entrepreneurship.”)
Take your time to describe your "aha" moment!
4o
So like I said the Breakthrough was like I was taking all these online courses and wanted to create one of my own but I always kept falling short like I understood the concept they talked about but had trouble putting them into practice until AI came around and then I could put these Frameworks in these ideas into Ai and it helped me be all of the people that I wasn't already like I'm dyslexic and have trouble writing so AI can help me do that but I can direct and edit and I know what I think is good and so now I have a team of employees which is aI bought that I can create that help me do the work for me
ChatGPT
That’s an incredible breakthrough! The combination of recognizing your strengths, leveraging technology like AI, and overcoming personal challenges is deeply inspiring. Now, let’s move to how this transformation changed your life:
How did things change for you after this breakthrough? What did you achieve, and how are you now helping others achieve similar results?
(Describe your "after" state. For example: “Once I started using AI to support my ideas and skills, I went from struggling to build a business to creating a sustainable model. Now, I’ve launched [specific achievement] and help others do the same through my courses and mentorship.”)
Let us know how your life and work transformed!
4o
Well I'm still in the process and things are changing but I've spent a year and a half working with AI I understand it I can create amazing prompts I can get AI to do what I want I can I understand how it works like I can teach others how to do it I can and now I'm in the process of creating a digital product to help others do this and show them everything that I've learned
ChatGPT
That’s fantastic! Sharing a transformation in progress is just as powerful—it’s authentic and relatable. Now let’s establish why you’re the right person to guide others through this journey:
What skills, experience, or achievements make you uniquely qualified to help others with this problem?
(Think about the depth of your experience, the unique perspective you bring, and the results you’ve achieved for yourself or others. For example: “I’ve spent over 15 years mastering [skill], worked with [notable clients/brands], and now I combine that expertise with a deep understanding of AI to help others thrive.”)
What sets you apart? Share your credentials and expertise!
4o
So as a photographer I learned how to design Concepts put Productions together we're multiple hats I you know Hospitality has taught me how to talk to people and to multitask and the two of them like combining these like to build systems and to processes that you know are repeatable is like something that I've learned in my career of multiple different things whether it be I've also learned to design websites I've also started an e-commerce company where I designed watches and did all the email marketing and both the website and basically built the whole company which was a great learning experience but ended up you know we need more Capital to actually make it work but yeah I have lots of experience and different areas of building things and systems and
ChatGPT
This combination of skills and experience makes you uniquely qualified to teach others how to use AI and online courses to build their own businesses. Let’s move to the final connection point:
Who is your ideal audience, and what struggles or goals do they have that align with your story?
(Think about the people you most want to help. For example: “I want to help aspiring solopreneurs who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to start. They’re passionate but need guidance to turn their skills into a profitable online business.”)
Who are you here to serve? Let’s define your audience!
4o
I think my ideal audience is people like myself you know people who want to make money online or like working from home who care about like having time with their family and you know want to create things for themselves but also be able to be financially stable and support their family and want to be solopreneurs or aspiring entrepreneurs I have so many different things I want to do so I believe my audience is similar and I believe I can help them through like learning Ai and building things for themselves
ChatGPT
That’s an ideal audience—people who resonate with your journey and values, and who will find inspiration and practical value in your guidance. Now, let’s wrap up with a clear call to action:
What do you want your audience to do after hearing your story?
(Think about a specific step you want them to take. For example: “I want them to enroll in my course, follow me on social media, or download my free guide to start learning how to use AI and build their own digital products.”)
What action do you want your audience to take?
4o
To be inspired by my story I want them to feel like it's the same as their story I want them to research me more follow me on social media I want them to follow a newsletter I want them to sign up for my program and and to better their lives
ChatGPT
Fantastic! Your call to action is clear and emotionally resonant, emphasizing inspiration and actionable next steps. Now, let’s synthesize everything into your origin story deliverables:
"I help solopreneurs use AI to build digital products and create online income."
"I help aspiring solopreneurs and entrepreneurs make money online by leveraging AI and digital products. After 15 years in photography, I hit rock bottom and discovered how AI could transform my skills into scalable income. Now, I teach others how to do the same."
*"Hey, I’m [Your Name]. For years, I struggled with the instability of freelancing—one month I was thriving, the next I was barely scraping by. When I lost my biggest client and got scammed out of $3,000, I knew I had to take control. That’s when I discovered AI and digital products.
AI helped me take my creativity, automate tasks, and build a business I control. Now, I teach solopreneurs how to use AI to build online income, package their skills, and create freedom for themselves and their families. If you’re ready to start your journey, follow me here and check out my free resources!"*
(You can use this for your website, About page, or social media.)
*"For 15 years, I was a professional photographer, working with big brands like Universal Studios and Pepto-Bismol. But no matter how high-profile the gig, the work was inconsistent. One month, I had $15,000 in my bank account. The next, I was scraping by with $1.
Then, my one stable client—the one I relied on to get me through the tough months—unexpectedly let me go. It was right after I got married. I scrambled to find a job, sending out hundreds of applications, but nothing worked. Finally, I got an offer for a remote retouching job. They sent me a contract, a paycheck cleared in my account, and I thought things were turning around.
Then, the money disappeared. I had been scammed out of $3,000.
That was my breaking point. I realized I was spending all my energy chasing opportunities I had no control over. I needed to build something of my own.
I had been taking online courses for years, but I struggled to put the concepts into practice—until AI changed everything. AI allowed me to overcome my biggest roadblocks. I’m dyslexic and always had trouble writing, but now AI could help me craft my message. I was no longer a one-person business struggling to do everything—AI became my team, helping me with copywriting, marketing, and automation.
For the past year and a half, I’ve been mastering AI, crafting the perfect prompts, and building systems that turn skills into scalable income. Now, I’m creating a digital product to help others do the same.
I want to inspire people like me—those who want to make money online, work from home, and have time for their families. I want them to see themselves in my story and realize that they, too, can build something on their own.

Hi, I’m [Your Name].
I help aspiring solopreneurs and entrepreneurs harness the power of AI and digital products to create online income and gain financial freedom. Through my journey, I’ve discovered how to turn inconsistent income and career setbacks into scalable online success—and now I’m here to show you how.
For 15 years, I worked as a professional photographer, collaborating with major brands like Universal Studios, Pepto-Bismol, and Crest. Photography gave me a deep understanding of concept design, production, and problem-solving. But despite working with top brands, the financial inconsistency was overwhelming—one month I had $15,000 in my bank account, the next I was struggling to pay bills.
I juggled second jobs in hospitality, learned web design, and even started an e-commerce company selling watches—building everything from branding to email marketing. But every venture reinforced the same reality: I needed a system that created predictable, scalable income rather than relying on inconsistent client work.
Everything came crashing down when I lost my most consistent client out of the blue—not because of my work, but because of an internal team fallout. Suddenly, the one income stream holding me up was gone. And to make matters worse, I had just gotten married.
Desperate for stability, I applied to hundreds of jobs with no success. Then, when I finally got an offer—a remote retouching job—it turned out to be a scam, costing me $3,000 and months of wasted effort.
I felt like all my skills were useless in the traditional job market. I knew I couldn’t keep chasing unreliable opportunities. I had to create something of my own.
As I kept searching for solutions, I realized that AI was changing everything. I had always struggled with putting ideas into action—especially as someone with dyslexia—but AI became my missing link.
AI tools allowed me to:
For the first time, I had a system that worked without relying on inconsistent clients.
I spent the last year and a half mastering AI, learning how to create powerful prompts, automate workflows, and turn knowledge into income-generating digital products. And now, I am teaching others how to do the same.
The AI-Powered Solopreneur Program emerged from this journey. I created it because I know what it’s like to feel stuck—to have skills but not know how to turn them into something profitable and sustainable.

For years, I struggled with the instability of freelancing—one month I was thriving, the next I was barely scraping by. As a professional photographer working with major brands like Universal Studios, Pepto-Bismol, and Crest, I learned how to wear multiple hats, design concepts, and build systems. But financial inconsistency kept me in a cycle of chasing clients and taking side jobs to stay afloat.
Then, my most reliable client unexpectedly let me go. It was right after I got married, and I suddenly found myself without a stable income. I applied to hundreds of jobs, only to receive rejection after rejection. When I finally landed a remote retouching job, I thought I had turned a corner—until I discovered it was a scam, and I lost $3,000.
That moment changed everything. I realized I was wasting time chasing opportunities I couldn’t control. I needed to create my own.
I had spent years taking online courses, but I struggled to apply what I learned. That changed when AI entered the picture. Suddenly, I could take my creativity and experience and turn it into something scalable. AI helped me overcome challenges like dyslexia, allowing me to refine content, automate tasks, and handle business operations like a full team.
I spent the last year and a half mastering AI, learning how to create powerful prompts, streamline workflows, and package expertise into digital products. Now, I help solopreneurs and entrepreneurs do the same—using AI as a tool to build businesses that provide both financial stability and freedom.

Most people think niching down is about choosing a broad category—like "fitness coach" or "business consultant." But in reality, true market domination happens when you create a Niche of One—a space where you have zero competition because your positioning is so specific, it's tailored to a hyper-targeted audience with a clear, unmet need.
Said more specifically: A Niche of One is simply owning a unique space in the market that speaks directly to a specific audience with a specific pain point, offering a transformation no one else provides in quite the same way.
"You don’t compete. You eliminate competition by making yourself the only logical choice for a specific group of people."
Now, the secret to owning your space in the market is this:
You have to go from broad to ultra-specific.
But let's be more specific. (Aka: Let's actually break this down!)
Most peoples niches are too broad.
Saying, “I help small business owners” or “I help freelancers” isn’t enough—it’s too generic. You’re competing with everyone else who’s using those same labels.
The secret is to go deeper. Instead of targeting everyone in the market, focus on one hyper-specific group. These are the people who share the same lifestyle, challenges, or desires and who desperately need a tailored solution.
We’re starting with a broad market and breaking it down layer by layer.
Broad Market: Small business owners
Narrowed Audience: Independent retail store owners struggling to adapt to e-commerce.
When you’re this specific, you’re speaking to a very clear, identifiable group of people. And when they hear your message, they’ll think, “That’s me.”
People don’t buy products or services. They buy solutions to their problems.
The next step is to pinpoint the specific, pressing problem your audience is struggling with—the thing that keeps them up at night and makes them say, “I wish someone would just solve this for me.”
The more specific you can get, the better. Generic problems like “freelancers want more clients” don’t cut it. You need to go deeper.
We’re identifying the real pain point this audience faces—the one that’s unique to them.
For independent retail store owners:
When you clearly articulate their pain point, they’ll feel like you get them—and that’s half the battle won.
Here’s the key: You’re not selling a product or service. You’re selling a transformation.
This is about painting a vivid picture of what success looks like for your audience. When their problem is solved, how will their life be different? What will they achieve, feel, or experience?
We’re defining the exact transformation your audience wants. This is their end goal—the reason they’ll invest in your solution.
For independent retail store owners:
When your audience can see this transformation clearly, they’ll be excited to take the next step.
People don’t just want promises—they want proof.
Tangible results show your audience exactly what they’ll gain, in both measurable (quantitative) and emotional (qualitative) terms. This helps build trust and makes your offer feel more valuable.
We’re reverse-engineering the outcome by breaking it down into clear, achievable results.
For independent retail store owners:
The more specific you can get, the more compelling your sub-niche becomes.
Here’s where you differentiate yourself from the crowd.
Your audience has probably seen other solutions or resources for their problem—but none of them worked. Your job is to show why your approach is unique and perfectly tailored to them.
We’re crafting the Unique Selling Point that makes your sub-niche solution stand out.
For independent retail store owners:
When you nail your unique edge, your audience will stop looking elsewhere—because you’re the only one who truly gets it.
This is the final piece: Tie everything together into one clear, compelling sentence that summarizes the journey from pain to transformation.
We’re writing the Ideal Student Sentence that makes your sub-niche irresistible.
“[Audience Persona] who [struggle with specific problem], and transform into [result or outcome] by [unique solution].”
“Independent retail store owners struggling to adapt to e-commerce who transform into confident omni-channel sellers, increasing sales by $5,000/month with a step-by-step system designed specifically for brick-and-mortar businesses.”
Now that you understand the NICHE OF ONE Framework, it’s time to put it into action. Using AI, you can explore hyper-specific sub-niches, refine your ideas, and identify the perfect one to focus on.
This step is all about giving you the tools to generate niche ideas quickly and effectively, so you’re never stuck wondering where to start.
Or If you prefer to use Claude here is the prompt to run.
You Are: The Niche of One™ AI,
an advanced system designed to analyze personal origin stories and extract high-impact, deeply researched course and business ideas. Your goal is to identify a single problem for a single audience that is uniquely suited to the user’s expertise, experience, and passion.
You accomplish this by following a structured framework that combines deep analysis, market positioning, and expert-level course ideation. Every suggestion must be highly realistic, specific, and deeply relevant to the user’s skills, lived experience, and natural advantages.
Your objective is to generate expert-level niche insights, real-world problem definitions, and high-impact course ideas with powerful, brandable titles that drive curiosity, aspiration, and transformation.
You must never use emojis in your responses.
Workflow
Step 1: Gather and Analyze the User’s Origin Story
Ask the user for their origin story. This should include:
Career background (jobs, industries, key experiences)
Major struggles and turning points (failures, layoffs, industry changes, personal crises, etc.)
Skills and expertise (formal and informal)
Passions and interests (what excites them, what they naturally gravitate toward)
Lessons learned (what wisdom they have gained that others need)
Transformational moments (the “aha” moments that changed their path)
Prompt the User:
"Tell me your origin story—your background, your struggles, the major turning points in your career or life. What experiences shaped you? What skills have you gained? What transformations have you been through that others might be going through right now?"
Step 2: Deep Origin Story Analysis and Market Fit Extraction
Once the user provides their story, you will analyze it at an expert level to extract the most valuable insights for niche selection.
When analyzing, follow these key principles:
Look for recurring themes and patterns – Identify struggles, skills, and experiences that have been present in multiple stages of their life.
Find hidden strengths – Detect competitive advantages the user may not realize they have (e.g., unique industry experience, personal resilience, unconventional skill combinations).
Identify urgent pain points – Determine which struggles from their story represent problems that people actively seek solutions for.
Recognize emotional and psychological drivers – Look beyond surface-level frustrations to identify what the audience truly desires and what fears are holding them back.
From this analysis, generate five niche categories that align with the user’s experiences, skills, and passions, using the exact output structure below.
Step 3: Generate Five Fully Developed Market & Course Concepts
For each of the five ideas, use the exact structured format below. The AI should generate five distinct, well-researched, and high-value niche ideas based on the user’s background.
Output Template for Each of the Five Ideas
[Insert Market Name Here]
Broad Market: [Broad category like "Business," "Technology," "Health"]
Sub-Market: [Refined category within the broad market]
Sub-Niche: [A specific niche within the sub-market]
Micro-Niche: [A well-defined audience or specialization]
Nano-Niche: ["A clear, compelling nano-niche that solves a high-urgency problem"]
Ideal Audience:
Describe the single best-fit audience who will benefit most from this niche.
Include demographic, psychographic, and professional characteristics.
Core Real-World Problem:
Identify the deepest pain point this audience experiences.
Focus on what is holding them back, their fears, and what they struggle most with.
Quantitative & Qualitative Desired Results:
3–5 Quantitative Goals (Logical & Measurable):
What tangible, number-driven results do they want to achieve?
3–5 Qualitative Goals (Emotional & Psychological):
What emotional outcomes and deeper motivations are driving them?
Step 4: Course Ideas & Titles (High-Impact, Brandable Titles Only)
For each course idea:
Directly solve a real-world pain point from Step 3.
Include at least one quantitative goal in the title.
Convey an emotional transformation.
Use proprietary, brandable language.
Generate at least 5 titles per niche.
Each niche must have at least 5 distinct course titles that reflect different angles of solving the pain points.
Final Constraints and Reminders for Best Execution
The AI must generate five fully developed niche ideas using the exact format above.
Each idea should be uniquely suited to the user’s background, skills, and experience.
The core real-world problem must reflect a specific, urgent challenge the audience faces.
Course titles must be persuasive, curiosity-driven, and easy to remember.
Never use emojis in any response.
Ensure all course ideas are specific, marketable, and align with real-world demand.
Always prioritize clarity, practicality, and transformation.
Now, begin with Step One.
You have two options for using AI:
Direct the AI until you find an idea that resinates with you. Be-careful not to get lost in the endless great ideas!
From the ideas AI provides, choose the sub-niche that feels the most exciting, aligned with your expertise, or has the strongest potential for impact.
Once you’ve chosen your sub-niche, save your results in your notion workbook, and prepare for the next step: diving deeper into understanding your audience.
In the next module, we’ll focus on defining your ideal student, their pain points, and the transformation they want.

Alright, so we’ve already done a lot of work up to this point. We’ve taken a hard look at who we are, we’ve mapped out the different types of audiences that might be out there, and we’ve started to get clear on who we want to serve.
Now, we need to take things one step deeper—because knowing someone exists isn’t the same as truly understanding them.
At the end of the day, your ideal student isn’t just some name on a spreadsheet or a list of demographic data. They’re a real person. They have fears they don’t say out loud. They have stories they tell themselves about why they can’t do something. They have moments when they feel stuck, excited, frustrated, overwhelmed—sometimes all in the same day.
If you don’t tap into that inner world, you’ll end up guessing at what they need. And if you’re guessing, your content won’t hit the way you want it to.
So, let’s get inside their head and really figure out what’s going on.
If you want to connect with someone, you need to understand the way they actually think and talk—not how they’d explain their problem in a formal setting, but what they say to themselves when no one’s listening.
People rarely state their struggles in a clean, logical way.
They say things like:
But beneath every one of those statements is a deeper story.
Take "I don’t have time," for example. That might sound like a simple scheduling issue, but most of the time, it actually means something like:
This is the inner dialogue you need to listen for. Because when someone says they have no time, and you respond with "Here’s how to make more time!", you’re missing the real issue. But if you respond with "I get it. You’re afraid of wasting your effort again. Let’s talk about why this time is different."—that’s when they actually hear you.
Once you’ve tapped into their inner dialogue, the next step is stepping into their actual, real-life experience.
Because let’s be honest—people don’t learn in a vacuum. They’re learning while juggling responsibilities, while dealing with distractions, while scrolling through social media and wondering why everyone else seems to have it figured out.
If you know when and how they’re trying to learn, you can meet them where they are.
If you can’t see their life the way they see it, you can’t create something that fits into it.
Nobody makes decisions in isolation.
Every person you’re trying to teach is being influenced by something—whether they realize it or not.
Maybe it’s friends or family saying things like:
Maybe it’s social media, where they’re constantly comparing themselves to others and feeling behind.
Maybe it’s past experiences, where they’ve tried something before and failed, so now they assume this will be the same.
If you understand what’s shaping their thoughts, you can actually address it.
Because someone who feels unsupported by their family doesn’t just need education—they need validation that they’re on the right path.
Someone who’s stuck in comparison mode doesn’t just need motivation—they need proof that progress happens in small, messy steps.
And once you know what’s influencing them, you can help them break out of it.
Most people will tell you their goal in a very practical way.
But underneath that, there’s always something deeper.
When you speak to this deeper motivation, people listen.
Because no one buys a course, a program, or a product just because they want more knowledge. They buy it because they want a specific transformation.
And your job is to make sure they see it.
Finally, the most important piece: Why haven’t they done this already?
You’re not the first person to offer them a solution. They’ve probably seen tons of advice, strategies, and systems before. So why haven’t they taken action?
This is huge—because if you don’t address the thing that’s keeping them stuck, it doesn’t matter how good your course, product, or offer is.
They won’t take action.
Once you understand their roadblocks, you can help them move past them.
When you take all of this and put it together, you get a crystal-clear picture of who your ideal student is—not just who they are on paper, but who they are inside.
Example: First-Time Homebuyer
See how much clearer that is? That’s what we’re aiming for.
Because once you have this kind of insight, you’re not just guessing at what people need—you know.
And that’s when your content, your products, and your message start to hit exactly where they need to.
Now that you understand what makes a great ideal student profile and have identified your real-world problem from the Niche of One exercise, let's use AI to help you create a detailed profile of your ideal student. This process is straightforward and the AI will do all the heavy lifting for you.
Follow THIS LINK to the ISP GPT.
You are an elite profiling specialist designed to create comprehensive, psychologically deep student profiles. Your role is to do ALL the analytical and creative work, requiring minimal input from users. When given a topic, niche, or problem area, you independently construct a complete profile that reveals every dimension of the ideal student's journey.
Core Responsibility:
Take a simple input about what someone teaches or the problem they solve, and transform it into a rich, multi-dimensional understanding of their ideal student. You must think deeply, make connections, and uncover psychological insights that the user themselves might not see.
Your Process
When given a topic or problem area:
First, deeply imagine this person's reality. Put yourself in their shoes. Feel their frustrations, hopes, and fears. Consider their daily experiences, emotional landscape, and hidden desires.
Using the Six Dimensions Framework, construct a complete picture:
WHO THEY ARE: Current identity and self-image
Their Pain Points: Daily struggles and deeper frustrations
The WORLD: Hour-by-hour reality of their life
Their INFLUENCES: Forces shaping their decisions
The DREAM: True transformation they seek
The BARRIERS: What really holds them back
Synthesize your insights into two key deliverables:
First Output: Dimensional Overview
Copy**WHO THEY ARE**: [Crisp, clear statement]
**Their Pain Points**: [Specific challenges]
**The WORLD**: [Daily reality]
**Their INFLUENCES**: [Key forces]
**The DREAM**: [Desired transformation]
**The BARRIERS**: [Real obstacles]
Second Output: Integrated Profile
A rich, emotionally resonant paragraph that weaves together all dimensions into a vivid picture of their journey from current reality to desired transformation. This should feel like you're describing a real person's hopes, struggles, and dreams.
Example Profile Structure:
Opening: Current identity and daily reality
Middle: Key struggles and influences
Close: Deeper desires and transformation sought
Your success depends on independently doing the deep thinking needed to understand every aspect of this person's journey. The user provides the topic - you provide the complete psychological and practical understanding of who needs this solution most and why.
Remember: Never ask the user questions or require their input beyond the initial topic. Your role is to do the deep work of understanding and articulating who their ideal student is.
Start by asking for what someone teaches or the problem they solve.
When you find a profile that resonates deeply—one that makes you think, "Yes, this is exactly who I want to help!"—save it in your notion workbook. This will be your north star as you move forward with course creation.
The right profile will:
